Hello, and welcome to Ciao Italy & Carrani Tours.

The Ciao Italy & Carrani Tours story began in 1994, when I entered the travel and hospitality industry as an employee of Alitalia Airlines. Later, I launched my own travel firm, Hotel Marketing Solutions, where I connected travel agents worldwide with hotel reservations throughout Italy. For several years, I even had the pleasure of co-owning a hotel right by the monumental Spanish Stairway in Rome

An Italian by birth and by heritage, I specialize in Italian travel in part due to my knowledge of the country. But my passion for Italy and all things Italian inspires me to share with you my newest development, Ciao Italy & Carrani Tours.

When I first launched Ciao Italy Travel in December 2006 my mission was to put my knowledge of Italy and tourism at the disposal of American and Canadian travelers. With numerous years of business experience as a supplier working with travel agencies, I came to understand the needs and modus operandi of these various agencies. The launch of Ciao Italy Travel was a natural step in offering my experiences and services to travel agents that needed to accommodate the most demanding of clients. In only two years, Ciao Italy Travel has experienced great success and has established a solid reputation in the Travel and Tourism market by continuously offering its services to travelers and travel agents directly.

My goal has always been to find the perfect local supplier in Italy so that I could meet every request my clients had of me. After two years of growing Ciao Italy Travel I realized the importance of being able to offer the greatest selection of Italy Travel packages with the lowest possible prices direct to my US and Canadian clients, without having to shop in Italy or pay the intermediary costs of third parties.

With that success, the decision was easy; why not bring my preferred supplier, Carrani Tours of Rome, to North America? And so, a new partnership was born. Mr. Paolo Delfini, President and third generation owner of Carrani Tours was excited to join Ciao Italy Travel in order to become the leading Italy travel and tour service provider in the US and Canada. As of January 2009, a new company, Ciao Italy & Carrani Tours, was born. This was a 'match made in heaven'-a synergy that now results in endless benefits to not only travelers but the entire community of travel agencies as well. Our newest company is proud to offer exceptional pricing, efficient and fast service, supported by teams in both New York and Rome. While most US based tour operators specializing in Italy travel still negotiate rates with Italian suppliers, Ciao Italy & Carrani Tours deals direct to you, the client, as an Italian supplier with an office in both New York and Rome. Now, you have the convenience of dealing directly from New York with one the most historical and prestigious tour operators and travel wholesalers in Italy.
